The Alice WCO has earned a reputation performing cross-cultural music in breathtaking settings throughout the Territory presenting a fine mix of classical contemporary chamber music with a touch of the outlandish.

The ASWCO presents an annual program of  4 concerts – some of which are held within the dramatic natural landscapes of Alice Springs’ surrounds.  The orchestra focuses on inclusivity and enjoyment for diverse audiences. The ASWCO provides a unique catalyst for sharing and improving knowledge and appreciation of this remote town and beautiful desert region which we call home.

“Lovely to hear the music on Saturday morning! Pretty special when classical music is played alfresco/on Country. Looking at your web presence, you have many interesting projects on the go! What fun!” –  Jangle

“The outdoor concert appreciated by me and hundred or so people in the audience on Saturday 25th October at Simpsons Gap in the Western McDonnell Ranges is another excellent demonstration of the growing support the Orchestra is enjoying” – Brian Jeffries
