The Alice WCO has earned a reputation performing cross-cultural music in breathtaking settings throughout the Territory presenting a fine mix of classical contemporary chamber music with a touch of the outlandish.

Under the Artistic Direction of Markus Kuchenbuch, the ASWCO presents an annual program of six concerts – many of which are held within the dramatic natural landscapes of Alice Springs’ surrounds. Combined with a continuing education program and annual tour through remote Indigenous communities, the orchestra focuses on inclusivity and enjoyment for diverse audiences. The ASWCO provides a unique catalyst for sharing and improving knowledge and appreciation of this remote town and beautiful desert region which we call home.
