What a ride in Challenging Times including an all NT INTERNATIONAL DARWIN FESTIVAL
& DESFEST 2020 @Desert Parks “Bird Show” Auditorium West Mac Backdrop.
From June 14th to November 28th 2020 we played 12 concerts, picked up 3 new players along the way, live streamed 4 concerts in to the world via 8CCC 102.1 FM, filmed and recorded an outdoor video-film in Simpsons Gap & Anzac Hill to be released before Christmas and the grand Finale with an extra 15 young string players, a Brass quintet, a Timpani and Percussionist, a solo guitar and PL’s Drum Atweme Drumming Project.
Thank you CHO Dr Heggie for encouraging the idea to ‘live perform’ in challenging times, thank you Arts NT for looking into ways to support us along the way, thank you Alice Town Council for your ongoing inkind support and opportunities to live perform in and around the Alice, thanks to the great team of 8CCC 102.1 FM radio on with the amazing opportunity to live stream our efforts bringing classical contemporary music to the listeners at home on the radios thank you to the private supporters and donors who made us feel welcome and appreciated and enable us to look forward into an exciting Alice WCO SEASON 2021!
Now looking forward towards 2021 with an all new program to be performed outdoors as well as at Araluen Theatre. With Specialists workshop and exciting opportunities to attend world class classical contemporary live music from the Red Centre.

The Alice Springs World Chamber Orchestra – ASWCO - performed a series of new and well established works in their 2020 season in Central Australia and “en route” to Darwin Festival 2020.. Contemporary classical music by Peter Warlock, Max Richter, Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt, Astor Piazolla, Elena Kats-Chernin, Lady Gaga and others.
